What is wrong with those shout casters?
Yesterday I watched whisenhunt or something and I thought it was horrible and made me quit the stream (his co-caster was actually decent) but this greatfrag dude takes it to a new level. HLTV here I come :\

there's not any real pro shoutcasters in CS. ESL's Joe Miller is decent but hes busy with other games like LoL etc whatever he's casting. Theres plenty of 'shoutcasters' which are able to do that due that HLTV is available for everyone - they're doing in for community. Different sites or nations may have streams available for their viewers but it doesnt mean they're professional at it. In English, while I agree greatfrag's Rahim has his unique style and it can be annoying but his greatest asset is that IS actively streaming any event and any given time in past year (havent really followed longer than that) and have reached decent viewers rate for his streams. I didnt like whisenhunt's very much either but he's just trying to contribute. I personally prefer the WinOut stream with lurppis&semphis&whoever is there the most, while they are not the most 'shoutcaster' like they still give good analystic analysis take of the game. (my twitch gives routing errors for now so dont know if they're casting). And for last, RedEye and Joe Miller should be casting Finals tomorrow (assuming CS gets any stage-time xD)

yes they do and that's due the sad fact that there only 4/10 top 10 eu teams in the event for example. mandic and m5 could've manipulate their groups for a easier bracket but gladly we didnt see any of that in a event like this :) Well it is how it is and atleast one semifinal should be a good match along with finals.

WinOut stream was a good suggestion.

In a shoutcast I don't need much. Just don't make it super annoying(greatfrag) or miss every single action and be annoying(whisenhunt).
Having someone who knows his stuff analyzing the game is a big plus. But having one of those overlays with health bar etc and just talking a bit about what's happening, being aware of where the action is and some information of the players is enough too though :P
