Kraken's old ulti was the fucking best thing in the game. Proud ex-owner of such Kraken classics as WhatsKraken (got stolen by some commie prick), KrakenDecker (still going strong) and KrakenSlash (got stolen by some nerd). I think at one point I played over 50 games of Kraken in succession.
Although the new ulti was kinda shit when I first saw it I really like it now because as soon as you hit level 16 there's no fucking chance you escape the big toiletflush. It's a bit of a letdown at level 6 unless you charge into a cliff into ulti but oh well. I don't think I've ever ended a game of Kraken with negative stats, it's just impossible to feed on the fucking fish.
With the old ulti you could turn the game totally around when you're getting owned. Just when they are at the front base towers you just whirl them into the base towers, instant ownage. Ulti + dash (w) + portal key = epic win ^,^ kraken <3
I remember when I played an uberfarmed madman and I whirlpooled him into base fountain like 5 times (you could still whirlpool into base then). Won the game with like 25-43 team stats in their favour :D
