Call of Duty 4 FPS

Hey Hello there !

So I want to rape NorwayDomi at cod4, but somehow I get low FPS around 60 - 125.
I tried to fix it myself but I have no clue what to do.

My pc specs;
Win7 64 bits
ATI Radeon HD 5450
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 550 @ 3.20GHz
6,00 RAM
AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver version 9.12



I also use a config from bashandslash

Would appreciate the help!

i got 20-60 fps in cod4 and everything is fine (unless some1 throws smoke)

I get 250 with 4850.

4850 is 6 times faster than a 5450 :P

4890 is 10 times faster then a 5450. With a config you could even get 250 fps stable. I could get that with my 4850, which is 2 times slower then your graphic card.

A hd 5450 is a budget card, not meant for gaming. HD 4890 is an old gaming card.

Maybe if you play at 800x600 resolution, else not. The graphic card is one of the cheapest cards that is available, you can't expect that it will run games good.

Edit: here you can see some benchmarks with a 5450 and cod4, but with the settings on high, so you should already be happy with 60 fps.

I changed some driver settings of my gfx card and i bumped my fps from 125 to 250 stable i got i3 550 3.20ghz geforce 315 1 gb ... Low end vid card!! 250 fps!! Msg me maybe i can help u, currently typing from schOol LOL

you know that this yitch config dosen't really help the fps at all, i've been playing with a guy with much worse computer than yours he was using that yitch config and when he changed to a normal config or even the paradox cfg which is really high detailed he got much more fps. Have you got everything off in your graphic card settings?

I use some "esuba paradox" config (which actually looks like a "high quality" cfg oO) and get 250 fps everywhere.
