Well, not quite but close enough.

So bored, was about to make a journal 30min ago but decided that I am too lazy for that. But now while listening to music, this song came by and I just felt to cheer up your morning with it too!

What plans you got for christmas? I picked up my santa-costume an hour ago, it seems that I am so booked from 13:00 to 19:something, so I don't have time for the dinner tomorrow at my moms place, unless I go there late. Well, we'll see, I think I spend the evening with friends instead and visit family some other day.

About christmas-presents, what are you getting for _yourself_? I decided to get a new tattoo <3

Have a good one today, I shall work till 15ish and then just chill till tomorrow!

Actually! I was about to "marry" a friend of mine, just for the goofs, but he backed down and lost the bet. Not a marriage, but a registered relationship, closest what same sexes can have to marriage. The summer before last one. Would have been so funny :D Already filled up the applications etc, just needed his name for the papers.

filling out forms that the institutions provides you with doesnt mock the institution, it means obeying them.
pretending a gay marriage cause u think it would be funny is disrespectful for the people who really want it, fought for it and stand up for it in public.

and he didnt say he can not spend time with his family but that he is considering not to do it (even tho he could) which i find to be disrespectful towards his parents.

so getting married to someone of the same sex is 'more retarded' than getting married anyway jsut for the laughter? it's not like there is a set number of how many homosexuals may get married per year, so no harm done imo. just the same as getting married to a jew in a catholic country, is that retarded too? because until 'a few' years ago they were not allowed to get married either

well, it's his choice spending the days with his family. he's busy all day and maybe it's not worth going for just an hour, rather visits them for a full day afterwards. or maybe the christmas time is nothing special what so ever to them? thsoe people exist too :)

i didnt say it wrong or there is a specific number or any of that nonsense.
i gathered that he thinks homosexual marriage is beyond conformity (hence the "would be funny" part). all i am saying is that if there are papers to fill out for that the "institution" doesnt give a shit and you are not trolling them. the only people you are trolling are the ones who are serious about that issue and might not like it if somebody makes a joke out of it.

and if his mother has a christmas dinner i just assumed she would like him to be there. and no matter what he wants, or how little time he has it would only be respectful to attend it. all im sayin

well it's most likely about fooling around with his mates, so i take it there is none amongst them taking offence in him getting married to a man jsut for the fun, thus no harm done, that's my point

some things are obligatory others optional, maybe his mother just offers to have a nice evening to every member of the family, if they feel like - again, maybe its just a nice occasion for them to meet, and if they don't its just a day like any other

thats the thing. i dont expect him to be held responsible, neither by any legal instance nor gay people.
it is about considering possible effects and implications of what you do before you do it. it is about respect.
i dont think anyone should get fake gay married unless it is part of a raising awareness campaign of some sort. what would be the use?
and dont you think that pretending to gay marry simply cause its possible already is some kind of discrimination?

back to my original point - how is it discriminating gays more than hetero sexuals if you get a fake marriage?true enough - their rights are (in msot places) not equal to heterosexual couples, but still

plus: there are all possible consequences, 90% of fin might do it afterwars just for the fun OR they might stone him to death, though both is unlikely its possible, but rather drastic. but a whole lot of gays taking offense in his case is rather unlikely too if it's just for his and his friends' fun

because heterosexuals dont have to fight for legal and social acceptance.
it is a much debated topic and with topics of that sort we usually try to be extra careful cause there are strong emotions involved.
i wouldnt fake gay marriage simply because i dont see how that can be funny. in order for that to be funny i would have to be discriminating first.
its like me thinking that dressing up as a black hobo eating watermelons all day and drinking liquor just to pass out on the curb is funny. it is funny to me cause i think black people are funny :)

well sure they have to fight for their rights and social acceptance (though i don't see why, couldn't care less about other peoples preferances, and imo noone else should. it's a quite natural thing actually) and no, i wouldn't fake a marriage what so ever, but thats up to everyone what they think to be funny imo :)
(and i know emotianlly far more instable heterosexuals :P
some of the homosexuals just don't care either what other people think about it, which is imo far more useful than telling everyone up front. because thats what imo makes people 'special' in other peoples eyes, and discriminates them in the first place. if everyone would jsut behave as it was the most natural of all things, which it is, then there wouldn't be any reason to be offended by anything.
