Graphic card problems

Oke so i have a ATI Radeon HD5770 running on windows 7 64bit
im currently running on the like a year old drivers i got with the disc but everytime i try to unstill drivers i get a blue screen. and after the reboot it says:
no amd graphics driver is installed or the amd driver is not functioning properly
and the resolution is all messed up.
i tried:
updating bios
reinstall drivers again
delete aall ati files and install drivers again
format
delete all the the single drivers instead of the package and then install
and none of the above helped
also in the devices screen from the control panel it says:
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)

Was installing version 167 while the last version was around 200 or 180, dont remember correctly. ( talking about my old nvidia gfx card)
But I think there is an alternative for ati's driver, there is also another company doing ati's gfx card driver, I dont remember the name of the program but it was about "performance" or smth, try it maybe it will work.
