mp4 import to vegas 9.0

So i have been googling for the life of me and probably ended up giving myself 100 virus' yet i still can't find a codec or anyway to import a .mp4 file into Sony Vegas Pro 9.0. It imports the audio yet the video is black screen. Anyone who manages to help gets a ticket invite to play with the g5 hon team in beast mode!! Thanks!

try vegas 10 pro, works fine here ( for example, the videos from utube in mp4 r imorting well)

Siis onko sulla vegas 9 ja siihe pystyy heittämään mp4:ia siinä missä muitakin tiedostoja?

you could always do a fresh install and install the codecs there, maybe something is bugging it out
