Screen turns white

Since last night my laptopscreen turns suddenly white, eventho the laptop is still running. I mean i played fifa and everything seemed fine, until i started an onlinematch (booting up the game was no problem at all). Suddenly everything turned white and started flickering somehow and i had to reboot my computer, before i could continue using it.

This only happened when i started games so far and im really worried about buying a new laptop (studentlife=no money)

Has anyone experience with such a problem?

I already googled for the problem and people said that its not usual and either my gfx card is broken or i have to check my drivers. I wanted to ask you guys first, before i fuck up everything completely

Last time i saw a _computer_ having the same problem (freeze, pink screen or some other color.. sometimes a mix of colored squares), its motherboard was somehow dead (inbuilt gfx)

Not mine :) I do some little work around fixing computers. Studied few yeaes ago: Installation and maintenance of networks and computer systems. Been fixing family and friends computers since i was 13 yo :D

Where did you get that laptop from?
Go there and hit everyone in the store with it until they agree on repairing it (for free ofc)

doesnt matter, go there, ask them.
A lot of stores are willing to do it just for the will of their good name (and to get rid of a eastern-looking guy who hits people with his notebook)

i had no problem if the screen would turn black. i mean every laptop/pc crashes from time to time... but white ? srsly. never had dat before ;(

Which laptop it is?

Check your fans if they are blowing. Might be motherboard failure as well.
