Necklace for Men

What is your opinion towards necklaces for men? Am looking to get one for myself (preferably a chocker or something similar, without much domination on the neck. I have my eyes on these:

Am a little bit worried they are too dominate. Do you wear one? Can you recommend me one? Am looking for a brown/black necklace, should be smooth without medallion or something, and tight.
