Laptop + crt monitor

I am playing on a laptop with a crt monitor attached to it. I dont know why but even on my 8 years old computer I hit more bullets then on this laptop. The strange thing is I have 125 stable on my laptop, everything runs smooth. On my old pc I cant even get 90 fps stable. I have EXACTLY the same settings on my laptop as on my old pc, still it feels so different. Anyone has some magic solution to fix this?

you are not used to 125 fps stable?
as far as I know, you move more with higher fps
though, you get easier used to 125 fps and its easier to improve

Maybe make a script so the maxfps change from maxfps 30 to 125 all the time so it feels unstable again.

i found out the same thing, when i'm playing on my old computer it's really easy to hit.

I guess having a shitty computer is a plus if you want to be skilled ;-(

I did that like 2 days ago but still I wont get stable fps. Its intel pentium 4 2.8. and ET is using 80-100% of my cpu :/

Are you sure its not just the refresh rate? Im guessing with ur old PC you had around 75+ but with the laptop you can only get 60 max making the game feel very laggy.

Well I can change the refreshrate, of my extern monitor, to 85hz via my nvidia control centre so I guess that is still the same. I am not suffering any lag whatsoever, I got 125 fps stable everywhere but it seems like the bullets dont hit as good as on my pc.

i think the ratio 85hz + 85/90 fps is a magic settings to be unhit (i could be wrong tho)

if its 85hz crt just set max fps to 85 if u are able to have 90 at tops. I used com_maxfps 60 on my old crappy pc with a 60hz monitor

are you using wireless internet? after you plugin you still need to disconnect from wlan I think.

Its all in your head. I used to rock with laptop + CRT set to 120hz. Only my fps was lower than on my table-pc.
