I know I know this topic has been discussed alot but wanted a fresh discussion due to new released games and thus possible change of opinions.
I want to buy a console, but I just can't decide between xbox or ps3. I'm mainly going to play games like BF3 and some racing simulators.
Possibly also a console with a good competitive scene behind it(since I like competitive gaming alot), so I can roll into a new side of gaming.
What would you suggest to get (possible also a good place to buy them!) and what games to start with?

here im playing fifa, nfs with xbox controller
even gta is more smooth on my computer than on ps3 / xbox 360 from what i played :o
