Maximum Windows Sound Volume

Is there a way to increase the windows / media player's volume, higher than the maximum? Sometimes I download movies that aren't loud and I need a way to increase it's sound.

i already mentioned that sometimes i download movies with a very low volume. i then need some program that allows me to exceed the maximum volume so the movie could be louder

with atis suggestion you can raise the crappy quality by 200% but it gets worse and is usually unbearable in those cases

i have a vlc player but i never saw such a function? where do i enable it?

you can scroll to 400%

Splayer, u can go up to 1000% imo. im not 100% sure though
