I am still waiting for interconnects (Supra DAC-X) so I havent actually tried whole setup yet. I was planning on burning everything up in one session (around full 3-4 days straight), but shipping from honk-kong, japan, usa and czech kinda takes long (headphones are here since november, nfb-12 arrived week before Christmas and amp week ago). Now I only need those f-ing interconnects and I am ready to go.

Tbh, Its my fault I am waiting for few cables right now. At first I wasnt sure which ones to get and I knew it will take up to month for amp to arrive. So I contacted one guy, who is making high quality cables for really reasonable price. Everything went well until the point when I asked for confirmation of an order. He didnt respond for 4 weeks and at that time amp was already being cleared by our custom for final shipment inside our country. I didnt actually think that ordering from our "brothers" (czech) would take soooo long, even ordering from ebay with shipping from hong-kong by dhl was way faster.
About head-fi, I was following few discussions there when I was in stage of choosing certain components, I am really bad at making final decisions and some dilemas costed me few sleepless nights (the hardest choice was on chosing amp). I am checking whats new from time to time there, but I am not their regular forum poster.
EDIT: btw, what headphones Do you have in mind? I remember you having HD600 on CC7 which are already pretty solid ones and closest improvement would be in 500e+ price range. I would actually recommend you to try some tube/hybrid amp, this could give you some nice touch to your music (I have heard that Little Dot MKIII is excellent with HD600/HD650 headphones).
yeah, it would even have to be something like HD800 which is not really something i can afford
im pleased with my HD600 and occasionally listen to Beyerdynamic DT-48 which i love in most music as well, but its not comfy enough or a good headphone for movies etc (everyday use)
i have never heard a tube amp but would like to for sure if i ever get a chance
