avg, avast and avira are good free replacements
immunet and panda cloud are great low system av's but not as safe as standard av, but still pretty great

Comodo Internet Security (free.. HIPS,AV,FW,Sandbox) + MBAM Pro (10$ lifetime license) and a few other things.

And there is more than enough malware for Mac OSX :) But how will you know about malware on your system if you don't have anything that looks for it? Besides that we live in 2012.. malware isn't supposed anymore to destroy your pc but simply get executed, steal your data and delete itself from your system (or hide).

FUCKING VIRUS SCANNERS duuuuuuuuuudeeeeeeeeeeeee the only best anti virus is you i am using this pc now for 3 years and nothing bad happened to me since then.

Just get a brain, then you dont need a virusscanner.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It is great but it is very slow to scan your computer and I recommend you use MalwareBytes with it since it is fast to scan and detects majority of the viruses and other threats, you need to remember to update it before scan so it detects latest threats.

u don't need anti-virus :) just scan by combo fix or hijackthis :)
