he shouldve continued with the more stoic tone he had going on at the start imo, the emotionality sorta ruined it.

It really reminded me of a rap battle when he started rhyming things x). i cant even tell whether he was deliberately trying to 'touch' people with the emotionality or was trying to establish a different flow, but imo overdid it/underestimated the need to breathe :D

Awesome - watching some of their related vids the group session is great too. Spoken word poetry & storytelling is one of the most powerful art forms, I always love those tents at festivals. Trying to figure ou who won that competition as they must've been magnificent.

There's a band that do something similar... called Listener http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=o_IrqrKotBk - unreleated narration but spoken word / band mix.

Interesting but I completely disagree with him, assuming that the poem is a sincere expression of his sentiments.

good stuff + crazy that birdy started making this kinda music when she was twelve and that song at 15.. kinda beats Bieber
