Are you looking for a gaming monitor with good respones time and 120 Hz? or looking for a big screen with high resolution? need some more info's to help you out.
gaming monitor... forgot that to add ;>

Why the BenQ XL2410T is the world's best gaming monitor There you go, it's an 'old' review but yeah still think this is the best for gaming.
Parent
dont want to spend that much :(

330 euros in a shop next to my citiy...
Parent
fuck it gonna buy it :P
Parent
Syncmaster 2233Z -> 120hz -> 22" -> +/- 200 euro
Parent
read some tests they kinda said this one is shit :(
Parent
the colors only...everything else is fine.
Parent
yea if the colors are shit who cares :D
For me that is the most important, i hate looking at shit quality monitor with TN panels.
Fast IPS panels would be great with 120Hz
Parent
:)) not as shit as it sounds
Parent
I am just spoiled :)
Parent
You should, would have gotten the same if I had the money :P
Parent
BenQ XL2410T is the best without a doubt.

Follow ups: 2 .Samsung Syncmaster S23A700D
3. LG W2363D

(according to my research, been looking around for the best pricequality products for some time now, but stays personal opinion I think)

Here is the rest of my (for now) computer if you would be interested: http://tweakers.net/gallery/409041#tab:wenslijst
(any recommendations from people who know something about hardware are welcome!)

Edit: Just saw the XL2420TX (thx alexL). Seems like a nice monitor, just out tho.
I've terrible history with benq- brand, 1st one had dead pixel from the start and and 2nd one never even booted, havent touched em since. Samsungs i approve.

The first computer I bought was 6years ago.. I spend almost too much time researching on the internet (& comparing different ICT stores setups) about opinions, experiences and failures of the products I buy before I actually buy them (little freaky I know).. But last week the first thing from my '6y old settings' died - the Logitech G5 mouse. Cable was broken.

On topic: I also bought a benq screen - FP91G+, still works perfectly. (well it's not a 120hz 2ms screen, but well - back then.. it was a good monitor & it still is imo)

Wishlist seems perfect, the CM advanced is good price/quaility but I prefer a more silent case, but obvious the strong point of the CM is the high airflow
Parent
mm do you know a more silent case, same quality - same pricerange? Because I like it silent too :P
Parent
Dutch article about silent cases Good Luck with picking one ;), I myself own the Fractal design R3, Can't say I was blown away by how silent it is(Can't hear it if fan speeds are on 30% but for games like bf3 you will need like 60% or 80% when having high grahpic settings, won't hear it with headset but will without.) but it has nice features and a good design so I'm statisfied
Parent
Fractal Design R3 is second on my list & also CM Haf X (but was way above the price of the CM 690 II)

Thanks for making me doubt my choice again. (been changing things since August. :D)
Parent
Did the same when I built my PC simulair to yours, you can check my profile for the specs.
Parent
Seems nice - I'll probably ask you about the ocz vertex 2 when I'm actually going to buy the computer tho, heard it breaks quickly pretty often.

oh & what did you pay if I may ask?
Parent
At the time the curcial m4 wasn't out, don't remember what I paid something like 100 euro I guess. My OCZ vertex II indeed broke but OCZ gave me a new one for free obviously.
Parent
I meant for the total system without mouse/mousepad&keyboard!

Should be a lot cheaper now since I bought it 01-04-11
Parent
what site/shop?
Parent
afuture, made a wishlist on tweakers.net and hardware.info and checked the cheapest.
Parent
Doesn't look that good
The memory needs 1,65v not that good for sandy bridge take memory with 1,5v corsair vengeance/gskill ripjaws x.
PSU is overkill 500~550W is more than enough also with overclocking, and Corsair HX is pretty nice, but i would rather pick XFX psu if you really want 750W ( cheaper and better! )

And why do you need blu ray reader? For myself i can't see any use why i would need it.
About silence, the fans you use in your case and what speed has more effect than the case itself. Just pick a case you like in design and features.
Parent
I have almost no idea what you just said..
Could you give me a setup you advice? if you have the time?
With all the things you just said changed? So I can check them & read reviews about them.

Thx in advance !

EDIT: Changed it a bit - let me know if it's better now..
Parent
Struggling with same thing atm, either buying some 27inch screen for movies and such or 23 inch with 120hz.
for gaming get 120Hz.. it is feels SO much better.
When I play at my friends computer - I am amazed every fucking time by his screen.
Parent
The fact is that im using dongle atm so im getting ping of 100-125 and it's very unstable so buying a screen for gaming atm would be kinda foolish as i can't rly play good anyways.
Parent
YOU ARE NOT A REAL POTTER !

I don't think there is a real question about monitors, they're all overally the same, just try to take some good brand that got a good review, samsung ...
they're all overally the same...
Yet there are review sites just about monitors.........
