Speedcup 1v1

Hey guys,

i got some sparetime today so i thought about hosting a small 1v1 speedcup. the thing is: i never have done one before...so gimme your information/feedback which maps to use (i would prefer some not so known maps because everybody knows how to strafe/do adlernest...) and if i need something to consider besides using the esl 1v1 speed config + if you are interest in this cup (start around 16.00 cet)...

ahh before i forgot: would be great if you can upload the speedconfig to your server: http://www.esl.eu/eu/et/download/14888025/ and let me know if we can use the server for the cup (currently i dont have any server with the config..so help would be phantastic ;)

edit : I was trying to find a news on crossfire about speedcups hosted by me and thomm but got tired at 200th page .. I think I missed it but too lazy to check again it was smth around 2009-2010

you can take all maps withou any vehicule escort.

Usually, most played maps are :

Adlernest , frostbite, et_ice, sp_delivery_te, radar, karsiah_te2.

I think beach and sos_secret_weapon can be in maplist.

I didn't test, but what about dubrovnik_final and te_escape2 ?

radar usually take 1.35 - 1.40 (more than one minute without dyna). It's a good and long map. (same goes for sos_secret_weapon and karsiah).
About beach, you can trickjump over the wall, but it's a speedcup, not a trickjump cup so I understand why some ppl doesn't like it.

No need dyna for dubrovnik and escape

I mean 1.35 - 30 sec of dyna wait = around 1 minute of move

Radar has lots of places to jump and be fast, that's why it is normally there. Would be awesome without the gate.

Delivvery you can take obj without the dyno and still do at a reasonable time. Adler without dyna and frost to :P you can still do them without dynas :P

If u have some kind of speedcup server config could u please send a dl link or possibly just copy the cfg and pm it to me? Would be appreciated!
