Fucking gray screen

Hi crossfire!
last night my hard drive crashed and I had to reformat it.
Got my self a new and clean XP installation ( yea I prefer xp,don't comment about that >:[ )
Anyway,I had allot of problems with my drivers first,some where missing,after a while got them installed but somehow I couldn't manage to get ati catalyst running,installing it with no errors,install finished,but nothing is getting placed at C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies , so basicly nothing has been installed,ET is asking for OpenGL.
So I got ati_omega drivers ( allso heard they are better ) and now im getting gray screen while getting ET rolling ;s
ATI Radeon X1600 Pro,hit em up.

EDIT: please don't tell me you are using xp 64-bit version like it says on your profile, worst unstable piece of shit. either get w7 for 64-bit or use 32-bit xp. not to mention you only have 1gb?

No,that's my old pc,he died,got my self 32bit pwner ;[
And I have downloaded that ( the 32 version ) but the problem is that it just saying "installed" not rly happens,folder is empty :(

I'm guessing you're using the new crossfire et pack that contains everything? yes? delete it. it's crap, download the et ulti installer and your problem is gone. (if you don't want to do such, remove the command line (at tzac) +set fs_game etpro and then start your game, it should work then but you'll get a stupid config + cheap sound settings which you'll have to change everytime u play.

Yea I am using it,but the weird thing is that I can't install my ATI Radeon X1600 driver,or as it names "ati catalyst",fuck that shit,nothing working.
Could be a damaged Windows installation,got my self the latest one from TL and will try to reinstall.
