23 inch led screen

Somebody got some nice settings for it>

I tryed with resolution r_mode -1

1920
1080
resolution

Cant aim with it :P

I used CRT 17 inch screen before 100 times better :P
Some one has some advice for me ? :)

What resolution to use ?

Cant use the CRT monitor any more since its broken :(

get used to it. you should have bought a 120hz lcd instead...

i dont know where to buy that at media markt they didnt had 120 hz monitors :D

other then that i didnt want to give out more then 200 euro :P

there is a samsung that everyone is using and it shouldn't cost that much more than 200€.

You should be able to buy at every computer store. do not buy your material at such stores like media markt n such, they usually don't have the best stuff for gamers n stuff

I know but iam 2 lazy for it mediamarkt is like 1 min from my house ;)
If u understand otherwise i have to find from internet.

Thanks anyway iam using r_mode 4/6 now 100 times better ;)
Feels more smooth then this big resolutions and i can use r_displayrefresh 75 ;)

I got used to 1920x1080 and 1680x1050 on a other screen aswell and i thought i had ok aim again...

But then i changed back to try r_mode 6 on a wide lcd ( everything gets streched out ) ... I got better aim again haha

thats because you got used to your fov / non widescreen resolution, when you change to widescreen (lets say 16*9), you need to correct your fov.

for example i used 120fov @ 1280x1024 and now i use 136fov @ 1920x1080

I know that, and i have been playing with native resolution in like a half year ( so i got used to it ) my normal fov is 105 and used 114.8, so i know that ;)

but then somedays ago i just tried for fun to play like i used to with widescreens
4:3 resolution, so everything got strecthed and with my normal fov 105

u know maybe why my screen gets cut ,like i got black areas on left and right side,its not stretched

no tried still the same...i noticed that its prolly win/nvidia problem because when i change in windows resolution that isnt native it also cuts the screen doesnt make it wider

yeah i got that aswell, but imo on my 22 screen with the cute mode the screen is like 15 inch :P

OH check in menu if u got a thing called " 4:3 IN WIDE"

what brand of screen you use ?

if u have ati gfx card.

look at image scaling
* enable gpu scaling
*maintain aspect ratio*

and remove that if have it :o

I got a syncmaster T260HD 25,5 inch. I still play with r_mode 6. Only because I used to play with that resolution + it's less laggy for some reason! gl with it :P

change your fov, then get used to it thats all.

you need to pracc few times then you'll be back in shape!

If u want to use the screens native resolution, then imo have to change the fov a bit higher. For exemple me i used 105 fov on a normal 4:3 screen, on wide i had to use 114.8... its a formal for this :) ( if u wanna use native resolution )

But i AIM better and play better with a 4:3 resolution on a widescreen, so i use r_mode 6 with displayresfresh 75 on my wide. Everything gets strecthed out = bigger players and stuff like this and the image gets a bit more blurry, and i use my normal fov 105.

Got the 21,5''

Used to play at 75Hz so here are the settings to sync. it.
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customwidth "1440"
seta r_customheight "900"
seta r_displayrefresh "75"
com_maxfps "76"

If you prefer to play at 125Fps just use native resolution and set r_displayrefresh to 0 or 120...
