new ET file (tzac allowed?)

Hey guys, there is a new ET file by splash damage in order to a new temporary masterserver

Would tzac think there was something wrong with it?

no. bans are added manually, chaplja would overlook this if it made any trouble

e: not that he looks at anything concerning tzac anymore anyway :ppp

Since et.exe has been hexedited, i would say it wouldn't work or tzac would detect something wrong at your pc. I guess checking the md5 (or whatever) might be one of the first and most basic tzac protections lOl...

yes you are right , tz-ac checking md5 of et.tzmod with your et.exe

you can just edit hosts file on windows/linux to get the masterlist working.. dunno why use custom et.exe..

Not much is, if you know how to do it; some people are very scared of doing anything to computers, even simple stuff like writing over/appending lines in a text file.

Doesn't ETPro also check your ET.exe? Seems like that would cause problems too.
