Ayreon

Any Netherlands Ayreon-fans in Crossfire? They play progressive metal similar to Canada Devin Townsend. Im happy I found this band, they sound really awesome - so awesome that I had to make journal about them.

Meh, didn't hit. Have tried to get in to Devin few times since some buddies have been ranting about it, no success, I guess I shall leave him to be no matter how big of a genious he is...
Ocean Machine / Addicted are good start for listening to Devin. Im not a big fan of his newer production.

I don't want to "start listening" him just because he is supposed to be good. Gave him a change, didn't hit, that's it.

I was just pointing out that his albums has different styles, some of them may sound better when you have trained your ear with other albums first :D (if that makes sense)

Loved the human equation (litterally shivers down my spine every time I listen to it), 01011001 was a bit disappointing imo. They (he) got some new material already?
Not that I know of, I just bumped to them accidentally.

Truly the best voice in the scene right now. I especially loved his Whitesnake - Here I go again cover.

only web of lies.
mhmh, a bit too slow for me (:
Way over the top.
Sort of agree, they would be alot better if they didn't try so hard and if they would just ditch the extra singing voices + random instruments :P
