Need New Headset

Hi crossis , i need your help , since last 5 weeks my headset is totally fucked up i had a sennheiser pc 150 ( mic doesnt work anymore ) + random 10€ speedlink headset as mic :))

So far i need really a new one , iT shouldnt cost more ~ 50 € ... if its possible...

So anyone got maybe expirience with cheap and good quality headsets?

dont buy a headset

headphones + seperate mic, this way you wont replace headphones if a mic dies (generally reason I guess most people replace, mics are shit on HS anyway)

lisen to this man. Best thing are seperate headphones. For ET even in-ear-plug stereo, loving it!

eventhough these are all portables, some of them offer a great value for their price.
For the separate mic i suggest the zalman clip on mic which should be around 10e.

sennheiser HD201 are quite nice and amazing value for money, the next step up are really good too but more expensive, HD215-II

If you want really cheap headphones with good quality, I can recommend Sennheiser HD201 (around 20€)

got it for almost 3 years, just changed cable because 3,5 mm jack broke. best, cheap headphones ever, using it with my phone and pc

recently bought these for someone who said they were fantastic, may well buy a pair as backup for myself, they are indeed such good value for money.

I dunno what kind of furious nerd you gotta be to actually break a Sennheisser. Mine still works perfectly after 6 years.

had the sennheiser ~ 7 yrs too... someday the mic didnt worked anymore... im not smashing my HS arround dont worry :)

fail headset imo, had it last time for like 2 month and the cable was broken, its actually a nice headset, u dont really hear the outside atmosphere, sound is good etc, but it breaks rly rly fast ..

things to consider:
if you buy high-ohm headphones be sure that your sound card can handle it (if you don't want to buy or have a headphone amplifier)
if you buy a sound card be sure that you have a spot free for the chosen interface (pci/pcie)
if you buy a modmic keep in mind that shipment could take a while (zoll)
