smurfs village is a pretty stupid game, yet addictive. you have to build a village, bit like the settlers. its made for kids, but I can't stop checking my harvests twice a day anyway :DD

LOL are you serious?

Modern phones come with a Flight-Mode which stops the phone receiving a reception, so there is absolutely no problem with using them once the plane is flying. You're supposed to turn any electronic equipment off during take-off and landing.

And long distance flights are basically cinemas. All seats come with televisions screens built into them, showing movies, tv-shows, music etc :D

By "plane aint a cinema" I meant that when they tell you to turn something off you actually turn it off not just put it on mute. I didnt have in mind anything to do with screens or playing movies :)

Neway, the last time I travaled by plane was few years ago, and they told us to turn off our phones and dont turn them until we land.

For games, try Drag Racing (I guess there is iPhone version as well, I am android user actually), so much fun. I am also having a lot of fun with Homerun Battle 3D (which I believe is out on iPhones too).

well, last I was on plane I turned it off and then I realised I just had my sim card replaced due to some malfunction and I dont remember my pin code :DD So, it was off for a day anyway. Fortunatelly we had one more phone avi and when we landed I guided my relatives to find me that pin code (it was on some papers from operator in my closet).

My laptop is broke and I won't be reading on the flight.

I agree that people use their phones too much when in social situations but I'll be traveling alone. Even then I always try and make conversation with whoever I'm sitting next to on a plane but a lot of people just want TK travel in peace and not be bothered by me ^^

Hmm let's see... some board games such as Monopoly and Risk, perhaps some card games such as UNO, hearts, solitaire then ofc games like Angry birds (you have 3 major versions), Worms(also 3 versions of those) , Battleship, Brick breaker, Gravity guy, Yamb, SFCave and the real time killer is Cut the rope (2 versions) oh and there's also GTA3 but that's a battery killer :D - maybe try playing mind games such as chess / sudoku
