Upgrading pc ?

Is there any use in upgrading certain parts of this pc,
or should I just save up and get a new one ?

1x ASUS P5q-e Ddr2 Socket 775 Intel® P45
1x INTEL Core 2 Duo E8400 45nm 3.00 Socket 775
1x CORSAIR Twinx Ddr2 4096mb Pc6400 Xms2 (2x2048mb)
1x SAMSUNG Hd642jj 640gb 16mb Sata300 7200rpm
1x MSI R4870-t2d1g 1024mb Gddr5 Pci Express
1x ANTEC Sonata Iii 500w Black

I'd buy a new one, but keep the HDD. The RAM & Mobo is ddr2 which is a bit outdated. GFX card is quite good, depends if you want to play new games or not. 500w psu could be kept, also depending on how much you upgrade by.

Personally, I'd sell all the parts apart from the HDD & completely upgrade.

its crazy how they bring stuff out so fast, this comp is from september 11, its got a hd 6990, and now tey have the 7xxx series out, wtf!

get new one. DDR2 RAM arent being produced, not sure about 775 socket cpu's either

keep it as it is, its pretty decent pc still but I dont see point of upgrading it. keep this as 2nd pc or smth and get a new one,best option

are you limited with this pc?? (wat kind of software/games are you using/playing)

is something wrong with anything??

i would save the case + powersupplies (depend on your future hardware), hdd and maybe gfx card (depend on your activity at your computer)
