setting 500 hz on win 7

Greetings

I just bought a new mx518 for only 279 kr!!!

Problem is that i cant change it to 500 hz on win 7 ultimate edition... i have followed the standard way with test mode etc that worked on my old pc but now the mouse wont move after reboot :(

My brother is useless btw...

Incase u are trying to change the polling rate while having the logitech driver installed, you should apply it without the driver first.

Get g400, and you can choose from 250-1000 hz ;D

incomplete tut.. tried it that way, didn't work.. you need to restart after point 3 too, then it works!!!

If you already have the service pack installed, disable the driver asignment and then do the whole hidusbf.sys etc again

do u have win7 32 or 64 bit?

cuz the folder amd64 is for the 64 bit system and ntx86 for 32.

means when you choose "sign a system file" in DESO u need the correct folder.

for 64 bit: \DRIVER\AMD64\HIDUSBF.SYS
for 32 bit: \DRIVER\NTX86\HIDUSBF.SYS

& then reboot.

you forgot to press f8 while booting so u disable driver signature enhancement or something xDD
