So I've been looking around for stuff to make my desktop look slighty more interesting, as I used to have the performance maximum theme with grey bars and stuff...
So this is what I have atm:
Stuff I used:
Maverick for Windows(ubuntu taskbar and stuff)
Windows 7 Start Orb Changer (start menu button ubuntu logo)
Windows 7 Navigation Buttons Customizer (next/previous buttons in explorer)
DMZ Cursor Pack by Jimmac (black ubuntu cursors)
BadClock for Rainmeter (clock in the centre bottom screen)
Stardock Fences (the grey bars holding the programs)
If there are any people more experienced with Rainmeter/Samurize, I'm looking for a nice music player plugin that works with Foobar2000. I've seen some but they don't fit the style I'm using.
I also thought about including a RocketDock/ObjectDock but after the fences were done I didn't have any programs left to put in the dock so :D.

ps: if someone wants the links for the themes/programs I used, feel free to ask

burn op cd
reboot
ga naar bios en zet cd drive als first boot option
save en reboot
of installeer gewoon wubi
Now when im thinking I never even want to go to desktop
I actually got some a7x background atm but I never cared about it at all, if you watch your desktop a lot you're probably bored and should find smth else to do than sitting behind ur pc :D
in kubuntu, i simply have two panels, one (top) for taskbar, the other (side, right) for program shortcuts :)
As I said, I used to have black background with just some icons and grey taskbars etc. But I had that for 3 years and I got bored of it so I decided to make it look nice. Partly out of a boring day and partly as I wanted to 'pimp' it up abit
