For some reason nothing is showing up in the console, what cvar is misconfigured?
- b_logbanners is 1
- b_logbanners is 1

did you try ALT + End already, sometimes the console goes all the way up and you just see some arrows..
type /quit being empty in the console, should fix it
no idea what it was, but whatever you do don't use ET-Pack to install ET.
never do that, oldschool mod all the way, install wolfet.exe, make a profile, install 2.60, exec config, 2.60b then connect on a server to download etpro & map, exec config again.

thanks for the reply though, It is handy knowing what the actual problem was ( I reverted back to an old saved config and went from there.. which also fixed it )
