I listen to metal but I also listen to rap/hiphop, classical, dnb and trance. I dont hate any genre because judging something without hearing would lead to missing some awesome music.

take my suggestion and listen to some hiphop from the 90's from AMERICA, not some finnish bullshit, ur opinion will change about:

rap/hiphop is the most rich music genre there is, if u look past all that bullshit thats on tv and w/e, u can see what im talking about.

For a start, its history is too short, it ranks far below other genres in terms of eclecticism, and doesn't touch upon enough cultural groups in a cross section of society, and it has had far too little an impact on the world outside of music.

what i mean with most rich is that u can hear every music style in hiphop. if u take 1 music genre and twist it a bit it becomes hiphop and if u take several genres and mash them together, it also becomes hiphop. on top of that u have the "rappers" themselves who are imo more skilled lyric-wise and can express themselves easy. its really just poetry with a rythm into it, thats why imo its the most rich genre.

but nonetheless i agree with all of what u said
