I dont see a reason for not banning them. In fact, playing with czaro and now with this is 6 months (or more) ban worthy for me.

Doesn't matter, Seanza or whoever is organizing this new LAN announced that he is allowing all cheaters to play, even the ones just busted for cheating in competition.

So you will have "LAN" teams picking up this trash, and there is no way avoiding playing them, as "ban" doesn't matter anymore cause you have LAN's that allow such behavior.

Basically cheating is ok now, as long as you have fun in ventrilo and make funnies like post from "ridji" below.

Having cheaters and their supporters participating in ET is more harmful than having LAN with less players.

We have already come to the point where cheaters instead of being shamefully pushed away, come online and even brag that they cheat and how there basically are no consequences to their actions.

This is one of the reasons legitimate players get fed up by the game and quit.

Ask what is the point in playing some random irc war when there is one cheater in the opposite team and 5 more guys that are ok with it?

just want to add that this is actually a vicious circle. the more true players quitting the game, because of getting annoyed by cheater/-loverscum, the less honest people are in the game - while the cheater scene remains stable. so the percentage amount of cheatershit increases over times and accelerates this process.

Such behavior already is wide spread, people shrug cheating off like its no big deal anymore, creating atmosphere in community that it is ok to cheat.

Well, i've always took Seanza and a smart and cool person, but after reading that few days ago i got kinda confused...

And i don't give a fuck if the community is already to small and the game is dieing. I would rather see a lan with 40 persons and let this game die instead of seeing CHEATERS being allowed to play. In this case i'm gonna start cheating and creating 1 tzac account every week, what would be the problem? I could go to lans n stuff anyway!

He organizes it, his rules. I understand that he wants to bre sure there is 16 teams. My suggestion was that teams with cheaters would be on the last place to get in, if 16 or more teams sign-up. Kinda sucks if there is some e-tourney to determine whom get a spot to lan and cheating is "ok".

But not my decision + I guess he will fix some issues.

What's the problem. Normal stats for someone who plays everyday :T and if he isn't allowed to play (another account etc.) then extend his ban time. Playing IRC war with banned player is afaik ok, and I'm pretty sure that your friends do this also
