ET keeps crashingg

hey there cf. need some help :)
since a few days i have this problem with ET
everytime when i connect to a server the game returns to it's start menu and the screen flickers when i click with the mouse. it then only responds to the keybaord.
besides that my tzac is sometimes saying ET.exe is wrong version or smtng.... works fine after reinstalling ET but cba reinstalling it almost every other day.... :S

for the tzacproblem id clean up my registry or defrag my computer. maybe some "connections" between tzac and your computer arnt thaaat good and thats why errors occur.

otherwise like a razzah said I'd try to update the Gfx driver
