mobile gaming is an incredibly lucrative market and so are console games.
every single game being released these days (including old PC series) are adapted to "console-style" gameplay.
console games are about pubbing.
if you want to play a competetive cod you will have to go for cod4 cause there have been like 10 since then but they are all aimed at a console/pub audience.
competetive gaming is a thing of the past, or a niche at best.
what are those milion of gamers doing then?
and it isnt even about the gfx. the graphics in cod havnt changed since cod4 and are appallingly bad for todays standarts.

lets take an example you might understand.
you play HoN (only) you said.
HoN is the money grabbing rip-off on dota (release broken hero every month to make people pay real money for early access and fix hero when he comes to normal hero pool).
most of the people dont bother with that tho, they play the "console version" aka LoL.
you can level up there and unlock stuff and build your own rune set and all that faggotry.
people dont want things to be competetive. they want to level up and skill things.
you know the makers of dota came with it? and of course they wanted to earn money thats what every company want. It always makes me mad when people complain about those heroes, you dont have to buy them, did everyone forgot geomancer, gravekeeper also not broken, monarch strong laning phase but easy to kill like glacius, shadowblade or salforis(he is tanky but damn useless later)
thats why i dont really know what to think of your opinion, is it wisdom or just one of those flaming people that have some issues..
and LoL well.. its more casual people dont always want to play games competitive
monarch is broken, period.
so was gemini for longer than he should have.
ofc they want to make money but every single S2-hero/non-dota-port they release is too strong rather than too weak, you dont have to pay for it if you dont want but the people who do get an advantage.
however back on topic: about LoL being casual. yes thats exactly what i meant. so many millions of people play LoL cause they like the (dota) idea but they dont want the competetiveness. same with any gerne of games, especially FPS.
and every hero needs time to get balanced out, there is nothing weird about it. In hon competitve they never really use those heroes that are not balanced out well, dunno your comment just seems like your angry in general but thats the problem of most HoN players and that is what really is killing the game.
monarch is still not being played in competetive games cause the community agrees that ehs broken.
do you even know anything about that game? :)
the one thing you are right about tho is that the hon community is absolutely rotten.
