MX518 random sensitivity changes

Heyo,

I've got utterly random sensitivity changes going on. It's noticeable mostly after a PC restart, the sensitivity is utterly different then before the restart (so basically it resets the sensitivity to what it should be).

Ontop of that, sometimes the mouse starts "snapping". I can move the mouse a bit, then it stops for a bit, then I can move it a bit more.

Any thoughts on what could be causing it?

sounds like Enemy Territory to me ..
happens to me aswell that's why i had to change it...seems setpoint is bugged hard...without setpoint works better but i dont know why is lagging for me... :\
using latest setpoint? if yes it's a known bug that logitech seems lazy to fix. Uninstall setpoint or get a older version like 6.10 or whatever is the number.
Uninstalled setpoint, lets see how it works.

Wire is dying. I had same problem with my g5..
Have been using an Apple Mighty Mouse for years of rigorous gaming. Can't give you a single complaint.
Maybe you try using some hardware from high quality manufacturers like Apple?
u need a new 1, its the wire
if its the wire, you dont need a new one. you just need a new wire or fix the broken one. noone able to repair their mouse here? what is this.
After restart dpi changes, at least for me. 1 click and ok again.
me2, but I have problem that it sometimes change setting from OS implementation to Setpoint implementation.
