Hi Crossfire - Any of you got this bad boy; I need a new phone and this looks pretty decent to me..

If you aren't a fan, could you recommend any alternatives?

its fucking awesome, only minus ive discovered is that the battery runs empty fast, but they are fixing it with next patch (in a couple of weeks)

Its not about the battery, its some shit in the os what is causing it to run low so quickly. lol

nokia phones r rly bad tbh

depending if u prefer iOS or android u could hv some nice phones such as htc desire hd/ samsung galaxy s2

or for ios : iphone 4S

Nokia phones are not bad, the brand simply aint 'in' atm, and well some other phones might be bit faster but the main thing nokia loses at is the fact the other OS's have more applications available. But the phones are still reliable and good to use as a phone which in my opinion is the most important thing.

Tested a few nokia phones for my job, had to decide whether to chose nokia/samsung/apple
I've never seen anything slower than nokia, the OS is just not good enough

I would recommend an iPhone. Seriously, why even buy anything else? Every phone is playing catch up but iPhone still keeps increasing their lead, breaking barriers of technology and taking names.

i use nokia e65 atm but when i go on holidays or just go out of home for longer then i take image: nokia-6310

I dont need to charge it for even 2 weeks, im proud too

yeah, what cutee said tbh. really solid phone the lumia. wait for the 900, its out this week. the gorrilla glass make it really sturdy, the new windows os is so smooth and nice to work with, dunno if you use word etc , but its all the same as on a pc and not some shrunk down version for phones. camera's spot on, nice weight, but the battery life on the original 800 was shit, nokia brought an update out which helped....but still not the best. the 900's meant to have improved it.

Yeh - despite reading a lot about this i've gone for it anyway. i don't mind as long as it lasts a day (although any less and i won't be happy...).
