CCDT Captains Needed

Hello great community.

Currently we have enough captains (more than required) to host a successful CCDT tournament. The community signups have been amazing, totalling over 190 players. However based on the original plan we only need 54, meaning 3/4 are going to miss out. I am more than happy to expand the tournament and make it 32 teams but currently we have around 19 captain applications, we therefore need around 15 additional captains to ensure that we could run a 32 team tournament.

If any "highskilled" players are still interested in playing, then please apply. The teams are being announced tomorrow.

No, any highskilled players applying as a community player will be rejected (and there have been a few). We require highskilled players to apply as captains.

The plan is to make the tournament 16 teams if we dont get 32 direct captain applications.

The highskilled players who applied as community players will then be moved to captains and randomly given community players. If we get 32 this way then we will process it, if we get nowhere near then those teams will be disbanded as they didnt make the 1st set of 16 teams anyway. So no one can rly lose.

why not make it to as many teams as possible and then give make a random bracket and some teams got a freewin in the first round? :p

what about if some of the guys who signed up as players change their status to captains/co-captains?? Would that been possible??

I wouldnt mind on changing if needed eventhough im not even close to be highskilled.

Ye i would appreciate if they could change their application. Check my reply to saKen though. You would be considered as a suitable direct captain btw but we wouldnt allow u to apply as a community player.

It is split over 3 days, 2 games per day max 3 if u get knocked to the LB.

If 32 teams can sign up ( if it's possible about the captains and stuff..), you should split the cup in 5 days instead of 3.. Think it'll be easier for everyone

Lineup will be chosen for you, there is no work required apart from prac and playing the offis. There are a whole bunch of "highskilled" players that have applied to play as a community player that u could take as a co-captain.

if captain & co-captain checked in, put co-captain as main captain for another team.

Captains/Co-Captains required to play? I wouldn't mind forming a team and guiding them or even leading in-game but I just don't see myself having the motivation to play actively.
