Score was fair imho,what do you think?

Explain how it was fair?

The last goal Athletic scored was retarded
Referee stopped play for Evra's boot coming off, therefore Athletic should pass the ball back to united

But no they rather kick it up field to their strikers to score

How many times have you ever seen a freekick given for a player loosing a boot after at least two passes have been made after the fact and THEN the ref decides to bring back play beacuse of ??? my answer to that is NEVER.


The ref had a really BAD game, one of ATH's goals was clearly offside, even the linesman was stood directly inline with the offside player and never put his flag up.

My thoughts on Man Uniteds penalty are that it was a deliberate handball, yes his feet were outside of the penalty area, I think the ref gave the penalty becasue that's what ref's do when then know full well that minutes earlier they have made a huge fuck up.

that was quite on the line really, and according to the rule a foul _on_ the line counts as a foul in the box, so i don't think it was that unjustified.

That is so true and I wish a lot of smaller teams had the same. United fans are, IMHO a disgrace when it comes to <getting behind there own team when at home>, you only seem to hear them when some thing 'special' happens. I must say though, 'foreign' fans do get a lot boring with the same SAME thing over and over, it just becomes a 'noise' :)

I could not understand a single word the ATH fans were chanting earlier tonight but it came across as 'Dalgliesh Dalgliesh Dalgliesh' OR 'Hashish Hashish Hashish' same old boring few words over and over ;)

Fair? I hate Manchester United, but Atheltic had 2 goals which shouldnt have happened.

First was a clear offside, second was complete bullshit, getting a freekick because Evra's boot came off, ROFL.

Ref was completely in his rights to call a free kick for Evra not having his boot on and playing a pass, it's in the rulebook! Yeah the 2nd goal was offside but how many decision do UTD get their way? Lots (including the pen!). AB could of scored 5/6 tonight

im man utd fan, and im really disappointed by that game. Ofc 2nd goal is offside and 3rd is a big joke.

but we have to admit that bilbao is rly underated.. they were playing rly nice football. i guess, thx to our trainer.
and without these two mistakes, ref was ok for me. We all saw badest in the past

AB played well, win deserved.

2nd goal offside, no doubt about it.
3rd goal...retarded not to give the ball back.

Penalty shot, could have gone either way (freekick/penalty) - but the ref was shit and knew what he had done just a couple of minutes ago (3rd goal).

Still can't understand why you have to play with shoes on.. retard rule of the year if you ask me..
