Chaps - is there a new book in this series coming out on Thursday?

Amazon seems to think there is but I've already read A Dance With Dragons http://www.amazon.co.uk/Song-Ice-Fire-Dragons-Dreams/dp/0007466064/ref=pd_cp_b_1 which they reckon is being released. Unless that's just the paperback or some such.

I be confused. Isn't the next book The Winds of Winter?

I am on the later half of the fourth book and the dance with dragons is waiting on the bookshelf. If you indeed find some information about the 6th book of the series, let me know too.

On topic: Amazing book series, currently in the middle of the 2nd book so i've got loads of reading still to do, will keep me occupied for some time!

It's basically impossible to discuss if you've not read them all yet because SO MUCH happens & all the plots are so intertwined I can never quite remember what happens when.

Loved them raced through 'em all in a few weeks, was mental. Just need to wait long enough to read them again. The second series of the TV show is due out 1st April. Woop!

thing is watched part of the first season of game of thrones, but i found it ruined the experience of the book if you get what i mean. I knew what was gonna happen in the book before i read it, which annoyed me shitless (even though the series is brilliant!).

I much prefer the book experience over the series experience so i've decided to read the books first before watching the series!

The books keep me up from sleep cuz i cant put em down xD, which is less than desirable!

u only know the major parts of the plot the the series barely touches motivation.
i read the first book after seeing the series and even tho it wasnt ideal it still added SO much to understand whats going on in the 2nd and 3rd book. 4th and 5th are kinda different sides to the same coin (and less exciting some would argue) but you are in for a treat if you keep on reading.
