My BenQ XL2420T arrived today, my first 120 hertz screen. I heard the standard FPS1 settings aren't that good, any suggestions on what settings to use for ET?

LG cost arround 200 euros for a better Monitor (atleast for gaming)
A lot of marketing!!!
ofc you'll love it since its your first 120hz, but the money isn't worth it (i read few test of this monitor and those real bench show you that benq cannot into making monitor)
but enough wasted money for gaming :D
saving money for car, moto license etc now
*monitor settings: Picture Mode FPS - Display Mode FULL - Brightness/Contrast 100
well the feeling is different no doubt. But 1920x1080 is pretty nice to play with imo. I probably prefer r_mode 4 over anything else but there's no way I'm playing that stretched and black bars do not cut it for me :P

anyway, you're playing on full hd then? and did you put any commands other then the r_mode -1 bla bla to make it better?
But I'm sure you can achieve some really nice results by combining it with dynamic contrast. I saw some photos of CS 1.6 that looked really, really nice.
r_overbrightbits 1
r_gamma 3
dan is het helemaal nice ;-)
sadly thats not really an option anymore
