optical drive problem

My cd/dvd drive won't read blank discs at all.

Lite-On iHAS324

Tried
UniBlue driver scanner
Numerous blank discs (dvd+r and rw)
Changing SATA cables

Works with Audio CD's + Software, etc.

If someone could find me an up-to-date driver, that would be great :)

what else would you need a disc for? storing data on it is so pre-2000 :)

I actually had that problem with my old pc, but when i moved the drive to my current one, its working. Not much of help tho :D

On the bottom where it says Model: iHAS324 'A'. Check what letter your drive has on that sticker. There's A, B, C and Y.
