2 hdd on pc?

Good day!

At the moment,my pc has 1 hdd,but because an opportunity just showed up,to buy extra cheap a 2nd hdd,i was wondering if is possible to have 2 hdd on your pc,without any problems?

And second question, this hdd i intend to buy very cheap,is a WD 2000JS.Is it any good, because i compared this one with the one i have now and the config is pretty much the same .

My Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-945P-S3 v2/v3 ,is it compatible with this WD i wanna buy?

Thank you

You shouldn't have a problem with the HDD's lol. Just remember to use the same connection. If you're using SATA use another SATA HDD, or same goes for IDE HDD...

It will work no problems..

I count 4 sata slot's so it right now capable of doing 4 sata HDD's and probably some USB onces as well.

It's as easy as connecting a usb-drive, may you have to format it but thats it..
ofc you can, why not :D

using 9 HDDs no problem at all
wont be an issue, go for it
Consider buying an SSD, ~128gb. Be sure your OS operates on it.
use 1 as a backup disk also, i have 2 hdds with a ssd, all works fine
i use one only for software download and trasht, the second one is windows & et
Parent
u dedicate the drive for et? :D, i dont think u need to, i have my games on my ssd but that makes sense

It will create a very big explosion.. big enough to wipe out your whole neighbourhood.
And disk that are inside will cut every heads when it'll blow up.

You can always buy SATA to USB to work it out.
any motherboard will do it, obviously find out what your mobo supports - IDE / SATA II / SATA III
