Win7 start problem

I have a problem after installing Windows 7, well something obviously went wrong and I cant get myself even to the Windows logon - right before it PC restarts and it repeats.


2,5gb ram
intel core 2 6300 @ 1.86Ghz

I tried to run it on Safe Mode but nothing changes, I tried recovery console, chkdsk and it says nothing, my hdd is ok too, because I can install XP without any problem. (i tried to instal win7 from 3 different sources)

Had the same problem, had to completely reformat HDD with a tool booted onto a disc (don't remember the name) then reinstall.

Dunno what happened with the first installation but I guess it got corrupted or didn't finish properly or something.
Yeah, something went wrong, right before the end of installation some 'window' appeared for a sec, i just managed to read 'setup could not complete the instalation properly' or somethig like that.

Well I will try to reformat HDD but it will be a big problem beacuse I have data there which can't be deleted and I don't have andy DVD discs to burn it :<!

usb stick? Upload some online?

windows live has the new SkyDrive function, you can upload up to 25 gb of files that are maximum 100mb each.

I remember the name of the disc now, it's called ultimate boot disc and it has a few tools to properly format the HDD.
