would be more appreciated in ET tho (and easier to make a name for yourself).
the cod4 market is very well saturated already and you came in kinda late.

CoD4 is alright to get into and really im kinda known in the scene not being ego but playing at a decent level i get to know the scene well enough. but hey ho

cod4 is an easy game to learn, fair enough but i wasnt talking about that.
you got around 60 viewers on your stream.
yjzz gets more on a uncommentated ET-stream with aweful quality (with ETTV in place).
isnt really worth the effort, is it?

yeah it was a quick game EMS qual first round, its not exactly expected to get alot ... generally we get around 300 viewers

Ehm ive played at several lans, come top 3 at 3 and casted lan finals and a fair few games online :o. ET is more set in its way than any game i would consider, 1 youll be forever compared to TosspoT and if not you now have owzo who is fantastic but you get CoD4 with alot of new casters who aren't at the top of the scene, Mennace and probably Aspec are the most well known but are hardly active, the point is if you are dedicated enough CoD4 is still possible and i don't think ET would ever give me the views that CoD4 could, if a game in ET will get 300 viewers for example which im sure it can...owzo or someone of the likes will probably be doing it and im far from one to step on someone's toes :D

But yeah that cast was with a guy im helping out and i generally cast with anyone who wants someone, because really there are so many games going that deserve to be streamed especially in EMS and CG so if 60 people enjoyed a stream then im happy :)

well with an average of 300 money cant be a motivating factor.
depends on wether you like to be one of a few or "just another" amonst many.

anyway: is cs:go gonna be as harmful to the cod community as i expect?

yeah streaming wise there is no money to be made from CoD4 i just do it for the love of the game :D.

cs:go probably wont be as pivotal is it will be for other communities as CoD is pretty established now with Cybergamer running leagues with vitanova.

Think ET will be fussed?

ET has its very specific field of expertise and is unique enough to sustain some kind of community. however every new major (competetive) game will bleed the community.

my thinking was that cod4 and cs are essentially the same when to comes to core mechanics apart from the iron sight.
i personally prefer the feel of quake engines to source and having the muzzle climb feedback that iron sights provide but that can adapted to rather quickly.
with cod abandoning the competetive scene (4 more recent releases and yet we still play cod4) i feel that cs will start grabbing more and more of the community having a clear e-sport focus.
