Well, really good job. Loved the way you used image-et dof option (it would require some more samples, BUT the idea is good!).
Quality seems also good, i would only replace that crosshair with a normal ingame crosshair!

Thanks, will do! Although i don't know much about those settings, but i guess i'll just play around with them until i get a nice smooth blend of the blurring?
Also agree with the crosshair haha. Can i get the ingame xhair straight from the .pk3s in .tga or something?

why not simply record with ingame crosshair ON? thats the way i do and it looks good :o
Well blur SAMPLES have dof and motionblur at same time. The "low quality" blur is directly afected by a low blur samples. Your blur samples might be enough for motionblur only, but since your using it together i would suggest you to create a little test clip using one of this cams with higher samples and see if it improves!

i couldn't seem to turn off everything leaving just the xhair, so i just use cg_draw2d 0 haha.

try to use my cgame / cgame 1 cfg, it turns everything off, if u don't want popups/center message either u can do b_numpopups 0 / cg_centertime 0
