Buddy stuff..

Can someone tell me if it's possible to add buddy's in a different way then just clicking the button "add buddy"?

We all know the adding buddy's bug. That someone else appears in your list while adding the right one. Someone once said it's because of the users using the same digits in the id.

Is it possible to add your buddy via some sort of url like u go to a journal or a profile???

Can someone help me out??
