new TV

Some weeks ago ive already made a journal like this, but i need your help once again. I want to buy myself a new TV and need some recommendations.

  • 32'' (~80cm)
  • Full HD
  • included receiver for digitial TV
  • as much Hz as possible
  • ~300 Euro
  • should be able to deliver it to germany


Would be nice if you can give me some links with good offers.

I can see why you prefer it for gaming but I don't think anything above 60 Hz is needed to enjoy tv more.

LED, LCD or Plasma for a TV ?

LED is a form of backlight and you can't compare it to LCD or Plasma and it's mostly marketing.

LED tv usually have a higher brightness since they don't use TL-lights at that give light to the screen from the side only. Read some good reviews don't judge by LED or LCD or Plasma branding..

Plasma has a bad angle of view from what I know.

If you are willing to pay 399€, just go for 40", you can get decent ones for that price. And no, it is not too big.

I sat approximately 2 meters away from a 34" and that still wasn't enough to get rid of the headache.

2 meters is actually around the right distance for 32" if you watch HD.

I'd say one of the Samsung 5 or 6 series LED displays if you're in that price range. Bought one for my dad earlier this year (34") and it was pretty OK. All the interpolation bullshit however still sucks ass and I found that my older Samsung 2ms TFT performed a lot better when playing games on PS3.

Got this (well, the LK450..) and I don't have any complaints at all (keeping the price in mind). I especially like the USB feature and the built in media player.

I agree, HD porn really justifies having a proper TV with full media capabilities.

I have a Samsung 8 series 40inch 100hz and off that experience I can say for sure my next TV will be a samsung. Highly recommend.
