Stumbled upon this "20 Seasons of Premier League", vote for best match, goal, celebration, save and team.

Jon terry? Put the crack pipe down, he hasn't even been the best defender for Chelsea over the years. Gallas, Carvalho, and now Ivanovic were always miles better than him. Vidic has been the best centre back in the premier league over the last five years.

What Terry lacks in technique he makes up for by dedication, I'm not a Chelsea fan, I would even dare to say I dislike the club, but Terry goes "full" every game and that combined with his excellent - but not world class - skills make him a top notch defender.

I wanted to put Jaap Stam in there first but i actually went for Terry because of his loyalty and his consistence every match. I Think he's a great defender even though im not a Chelsea fan aswell :)

So his "dedication" papers over the cracks of his lack of reading of the game, lack of any distinguishable passing ability, and acute lack of pace?

Stam, Vidic, Kompany, King, Campbell, Carvalho, Gallas, Desailly, Hypia have all been better players than him.

Even currently in the Premier League I would prefer to have Kompany, Vidic, Kaboul, Lescott, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Ivanovic, Caulker, Agger,Coloccini, Jagielka.

Take this from an avid England fan - Ferdinand and Terry are the two most overrated central defenders of all time. With Ferdinand you are guaranteed at least one bad mistake a game, and Terry was always ripped apart by strikers with good feet as he has the turning circle of an oil tanker.
