Just wanted to share you guys some info about my ex-team an ex(?)-EPS CS:S team, EMS team for crossfireEU and so on..
Like 5 days ago.. there was this team.. playin' n' stuff.. everyone had to sign these player contracts.. since pro player n stuff.. then suddenly the css team gets rejected from the eps :D? wonder why? THIS TEAM WAS NEVER REGISTERED as team with economic interest so it wasn't listed (AND NEVER WAS) as an company in Germany at all (the should be active like 11 years now or smtng).
The manager and founder of the Team itself is wanted for falsification of documents and stuff and would get jail'd for about 2 years or more, so he went over to Hawaii to spend a nice time with the 200.000 Bucks he just stole.
Btw: the money itself came from the players who had to pay 25euro a month for the t-shirts.. gaming equippment and all the other stuff.. they never got paid :'D for playing (they should have recieved like 300-400 bucks each season)..

But well, that's what you get in eSports and that also MIGHT be a reason why companies are still not trusting it as much as gamers would like. Happened often enough to myself :'-)
Of course its a massive shame but it also is in close connection with the (german) players hetting greedy.
A lot of EAS 1. Div teams want salary, support for small shit LANs, bootcams, gear, they think they can have what only 5-7 orgs in Germany can afford.
No wonder that shitloads of people fall for those scams.
