TZAC BSOD and other problems

Hello CF,

I believe i'm not the only person to be suffering problems with TZAC2. I hear that alot of people have BSODs and random machine turns off.

Instead of whining I want to collect some information from other * suffers* and pass it on.

So if you suffer from TZAC problems please can you reply to this journal with some information...

1. Describe what happens (i.e. BSOD)
2. Describe when it happens the most
3. Operating System
4.64bit or 32bit
5. Any problems in other games
6. Any possible hardware faults
7. Describe your hardware
8. Any other comments/thoughts

----- My answers

1. Will be playing fine then the machine will power off with no warning. Turns back on immediately as if there wasn't an issue.
2. Happens at the end of rounds but also sometimes when playing. Only happens with TZAC2 on.
3. Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
4. 64 bit
5. *Quake3* games are ok (QL, CoD4) had a similar problem with RAGE and FiFA12 though
6. Hardware seems fine, GPU heat is ok, no other issues to report
7. AMD X2 6000, Nvidia 9800 GTX+, 6GB RAM
8. My theory is that there is a segmentation fault. I had a similar thing occur when making ET Zombie mod where a segmentation fault occurred [a known issue at the time] and the PC turned off.

I bet that chaplja checks tzac-forum more often than some random-journal here. This is just quite useless whine here, not really going to help.

Don't think you got his point here, as he said, this journal is made to get every kind of issues related to newest tzac so basicaly getting intel in order to make it easier for chapjla, no whine as far as I understood ( doubt the man could 2).

1. Describe what happens (i.e. BSOD) - getting kicked from Server (lost connection) sometimes after chaning map or maximizing. i also have huge lags during the matches. Not sure if its my flatmate or tzac..

I was under the impression that games where for playing, not learning. But then again, that'll be why your so stupid, you have them mixed up. Your learning while your meant to be playing, and playing when your meant to be learning, the ratio of school/gaming for you is 1/10.

8. Any other comments/thoughts - My Google Chrome gets error and it closes after I close ET. I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error almost everytime and it takes some minutes till my PC gets a BSOD.

2. Seems to happen quite randomly for me. Just had another bsod. Last time I played ET or had tzac on was 13-14 hours ago.

The BSOD is a new way to bust cheaters. Everyone who receives blue screen of death caused by TZAC has some kind of cheats injected to the game.

1. Sometimes feels like playing with an unstable refresh or polling rate. I get kicked from servers when map change
2. Mouse feels very unsmooth mainly during the first map after connecting with TZAC

1. Primary concern: ET doesn't realize I'm running TZAC (nothing like "TZAC is now loaded, welcome to ET" in console appears no matter in which order I start things). Secondary: I can't exit and unload the driver, if I terminate the process I can't rerun TZAC because it claims the driver is still loaded or something.
