Different rankings have about 10 different chillis as the hottest, and the hottest on the scoville scale changes every few months based on newest findings. Add to that that 'the hottest' is entirely dependent on conditions, meaning that while a certain type of pepper can be the hottest, it is only going to be that way if it's grown under incredibly specific circumstances and is eaten at the very peak moment.
And what kind of reaction did your body have?
I know that over a certain scoville ranking your body essentially shuts down as it suffers shock (much like if you've lost a limb or are dropped into freezing water)
e: I also only ate a section of the chilli, not the entire thing.
the videos for that shit....
1 million scolvilles? wtf? how high does this shit go? im confused....

A superhot strain closely related to the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T. as of February 2012, it had been tested as the world's hottest chile pepper.
