Hello crossfire,

Well the 23rd of may im going to Belgium for 3 months. I will be working on a campsite. It's in Jabbeke near Brugge. And my question is: What can i do there? Any nice clubs overthere? How about sight seeing? It's near the beach. Are there any nice things to do? What would you recommend me?

trains in belgium are fine. I travel 3/4 times a week with train and I've maybe once or twice(?) been late

I travel by train two times a week (Friday and Sunday) and I've lost count of the number of times my train was delayed or mysteriously got kicked off the board.. You're a lucky man :D

That's why you have these delays etc. Your opinion is not valid because you take the train at friday on a rush hour and sunday because there are less trains and it's a rest day (god himself said it)

You're maybe right for Friday, but the main problem on Sunday is the quaint rail equipment..

Same for me! Friday and Sunday to go home + sometimes in the week, going from Antwerpen to Hasselt!

Bruges is a nice city to visit in the summer.
The beach is nothing special.
I don't know any clubs there, been to 3 clubs near the sea and all of them where quite 'marginaal' (meaning old ppl dancing to weird dutch music)

u'll get bored very quickly

I always went to Bredene in Summer (right next to Jabbeke), for nightlife you should go to Knokke or Oostende, cuz Bredene/Jabbeke/De Haan are pretty dead.

You could go to the beach or dike when the weather's nice

and ofc, drink lots of beer (Jupiler or Stella, rest is shit)

Erm well, Brugge is nice to visit for a few days. But not really as vibrant as Brussels or Antwerp.

i went on erasmus to Gent and i recommend night life over there, especially during weekdays - tuesday,wednesday, thursday - just go to Overpoortstraat and you'll see what's up dawg
