diablo 3 worth it?

Hab gestern nen Stream geschaut, wo eine Truppe von 4 Leuten D3 durchgezockt hat (die waren schon auf Level 53 & spielten im hell mode), danach ist mir auch die letzte Lust auf D3 vergangen. Mega langweilig & viel zu einfach.

Das Skillsystem absolut nicht motivierend, da 1. kaum eine Herausforderung was die Gegner angeht und 2. im Vergleich zu D1+2 deutlich weniger Möglichkeiten in Sachen Individualisierung - gerade das machte aber Diablo 1+2 für mich spielenswert.

Die ersten Vorabtests diverser Spielemagazine lassen auch auf eine recht schlechte Wertung schließen, ich tippe auf ~ 80 % :D

i have D1 & 2 since long time and D 3 since yesterday and i dont like it.....nothing more special with the 2nd except maybe the graph settings

just bought the game first thing i did in the morning, all irl friends started playing yesterday, hope its good, tried the beta and turned off after 5 min, hope i will find it more interesting now, otherwise i'll force myself to like it!

there are some ups and downs as always, i was a huge D1 & D2 fan, and i also really enjoy D3. So that first !

I was always a HC player, and therefore i kinda miss the ladder as a little "motivation" to play HC mode... so for me atm D3 = softcore only tbh ... i also wanna sell some items in the real money auction house :D (which is not avi in HC mode, due to blizzard being afraid of getting lawsuited by crazy americans that die in HC with items they bought :DDD)

2nd thing i really dislike is that you have to be logged in to bnet all the time you wanna play, even if you just wanna play the singleplayer campaign... but well we all know this problem of missing LAN/offline play since SC2... but it was a pain in the ass yesterday when servers were down all the time...

About the skill-system, i gotta agree it is kinda "easier" compared to D2, but there are 2 huge things i like about it:
- all dmg is based on equipment now and not on the skills. In D2, characters such as a babarian or amazone etc needed good items, while caster characters did not. this also gives you some kinda freedom to use whatever skill fits you the most, dmg is calculated from your equipment... one skill does an explosion, one does multi shots, some other might freeze your opponent... whatever it does, dmg is almost the same, but you have the freedom to use what fits your playstyle the most.
- When you are lvl 60 reskilling will cost you the magicfind buffs you recive from killing boss-monsters, this is a fair way imo, to make it "cost" at least a small thing if you wanna reskill.

And since i started playing D3 together with my gf yesterday, i gotta say the new skill system is ofc way easier to understand for casual gamers such as my gf... this ofc some might say is good, some might say it is bad :D

I dont know why people are saying its bad. It is the same concept as d1 + d2 with updated graphics and a new story line. People just whine about shit like this because they are not used to change. Or, they like to whine because they suck!

Before I saw some streams and shit I would say NO, but now that I did, I say Yes.

Just go to own3d.tv's live stream, there are plenty of people playing it. To be honest, I did not play Diablo 1 or 2, or enjoy those games that look like WoW or LoL (where you control a character, earn xp, forge things), but it was actually not bad!

too expensive right now and mehh no skill and attribute points.. please :X

watch streams and decide by ur self if u wanna buy it or not ...

I'd say definitely, if you have the money.

Didn't like it, played for a few hours before getting bored out of my mind. It really is the same as D2 just with better graphics which still aren't even decent (mindless dungeon crawling non stop). I would say just wait for GW2.
