mIRC not working

Hellou cf,
getting the following msg from mIRC when i try to connect trough my bnc:
[01:02] <-sBNC> Trying to reconnect to irc.quakenet.org:6667 for user otyg
[01:02] <-sBNC> Error received for user otyg: Your host is trying to (re)connect too fast -- throttled
[01:02] <-sBNC> An error occurred while processing a connection for user otyg.
Tried google but can't find any solution, any1 got a idea?

1. Message catcher. It's the voicemail of my internet world to those who I don't want my personal contact details to go to.
2. Nickname preservation. I want my IRC nickname to be MY IRC nickname and not somebody else's.
3. If I'm mid-conversation with somebody and my internet was to go down, or if my PC were to crash, the person chatting with me can continue to send me messages, as my actual server connection will still be live.
Other reasons people use BNCs for is file sharing (very oldskool message of trading warez - never used it myself).
TL;DR = There is a lot more to BNC connections than allowing people to send you offline messages.
